Kitchen All dishes must go into the dishwasher before check-out. Except for pots and pans, which must be washed by hand.
Garbage & Recycle Please place all the garbage and recycle in the containers provided outside the house, so that they can be collected by the garbage service
Bathrooms DO NOT FLUSH anything other than a small amount of toilet paper. No feminine products, “flushable wipes”, or anything else should be flushed at any time. Toilet lids are self-closing, only tap once. Please turn on ceiling vent while in the shower. Absolutely no hair dying/coloring.
Bedrooms At check- out please: 11.1- All used towels must be placed in laundry basket provided
Living Room Please do not use the fireplace
Laundry Room Both washer and dryer are only big enough for small pieces of clothing. Do not wash bedding or bulky clothes.
Stairways: Please use caution on stairways and loft area, especially with children to avoid injury. A safety gate has been placed to the stairway going to the laundry room. Do not allow children to climb over gate.
Garage: Garage door has a pushbutton switch that must be pressed down until garage door closes completely.
Backyard Hammocks are only for sitting/laying still. Please do not swing back and forth or play on them to avoid injury Please use caution to start the grill. Do not allow children to play with matches. We are in a high fire hazard zone. Treat the grill with care.
Outdoors The cabin borders National Forest, which it’s home to wildlife, including but not limited to bears, wildcats, deer, insects, etc. Please dispose of any trash in the containers provided, no camping/picnic fire allowed, and avoid contact with wild animals. Be sure to bring plenty of water on the trails and avoid getting lost.
Neighborhood There is a combination of vacation rentals and full-time homeowners in this neighborhood, who look after and contact each other in the event that something is out of the ordinary.
Please contact hosts right away if something is wrong with the house and we will handle the situation promptly.
Illegal and/or Disruptive Activity: Any suspected illegal and/or disruptive activity will be reported to Law Enforcement right away. If a guest is removed from the premises for such activities, no refund will be provided.
.- Guest understands that there is no guarantee that properties in the neighborhood will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors, and any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or adjustment
Internet & Security Equipment: Do not tamper with security camera installed outside, smart door lock, Internet, Internet equipment. We do not guarantee internet and connectivity. Guest understands that no refunds will be given for Internet connectivity issues or lack of service
No mailing/receiving packages
Mattress Protectors and/or other furniture coverings: Guest agrees to NOT remove these protective covers. Fine will be charged to replace furniture if damage occurs due to covering being removed.
Lost and Found Items: Hosts are not responsible for lost items, nor our cleaning service of the unit will be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items. In addition to shipping and handling charges to return items left behind, a charge of a $20 fee to look for and retrieve lost items.
Guests Liability: Guests agrees to accept liability for any damages caused to the property by guests, including but not limited to, landscaping, misuse of appliances, and/or equipment furnished. If damages are in excess of the damage waiver, guest agrees to reimburse owners for costs incurred to repair/replace damaged items.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.
The home is equipped for housekeeping with dishes, cookware, silverware and glasses. Guests are only provided complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper, toilet paper, hand soaps, dishwashing soaps, hand soaps and laundry soap. Please do not remove any furnishings, equipment or items from the unit. Locked areas such as owner`s personal storage are off limits to guest. Guest understands that the hosts shall not be responsible for providing any additional furnishings or equipment. Guest will be solely liable for any additional costs, charges or expenses resulting from any damage, lost or stolen items or excessive check-out cleaning. Guest is not permitted to move, rearrange or change any furniture or décor.
If you are concerned about the possible interruption, cancelation or delayed travel, you are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance offers a comprehensive cancelation and interruptions policy, which can protect you not only in the event of weather-related storms, but for sudden emergencies as well. Without travel insurance, no refunds will be given. Hosts will not be liable for events that may interfere with your scheduled occupancy, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government agencies, fire, strikes of terrorism and war.
NO LIABILITY/INDEMNIFICATION/HOLD HARMLESS: The host and/or owners of the property do not assume liability for the loss, theft, damage or injury (or death) to persons or their personal property. Guests agree to indemnify and hold the owners harmless for any liabilities, theft, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim or litigation which may arise out of or in connection with Guests’ use and occupancy of the rental property, including but not limited to claims for personal injury or property damage/loss. The host and/or owners are not responsible for tickets issued, cars towed/booted or any damage to guest’s vehicles from casualty or negligent or intentional wrongful acts of other guests or third parties. Guest waives any and all claims, damages, and/or causes of action for personal injury or property damage against us (the host) for use of the parking provided. We are not responsible for any articles left in vehicles. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
POWER OUTAGES There are occasional power outages in our area. Although we intend to notify guests right away, this situation is out of our control. Guests understand that we do not provide refunds or adjustments on the rental rate, except as stated on the cancellation/Refunds rules on the listing.
