House Rules
In order for us to provide you with the highest standard of service, we ask that you please read and abide by the following expectations. By booking this reservation, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following rules:
- We offer some complementary items as a courtesy just to get you started during your stay, such as: some toiletries, dishwasher soap, coffee and some cooking species. The closest grocery store is about a 10 min drive if you run out or need to buy groceries. (Fred Meyer Supermarket in Brookings, OR)
-Please no food or drink in the bedrooms or living room furniture. (Water okay)
-The cottage next door is also a vacation rental. Please do not disturb guests-.-No parties or events. No shouting, no foul language. Quiet time after 8pm
- Smoking of any substance (including vaping or electric cigarette) is not allowed anywhere on the property. Please do not leave butts in the yard. Evidence of smoking in the home will result in a $250 cleaning fee.
- Pets are not allowed. Evidence of pet(s) will result in up to a $ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) fee (except as permitted by law and with ample advance notice and documentation at the time reservation is made)
-No Unregistered guests. 6 guests is the maximum capacity. No visitors allowed.
-Parking must be right in front of back gate. Parking on the property is limited. Large trailers or commercial vehicles are not allowed .
-There are sometimes wild animals on the property such as bears and elk, do not approach them. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while outside on the premises. Property is right on an interstate highway and vehicles drive by at fast speed, do not let children be unsupervised
-The property is not child-proofed. By making this reservation, you are acknowledging and agreeing to keep your child near at all times and to hold-harmless the owner and property management company/agent and to accept all responsibility for children and guests, including injuries and accidents.
-Front gate to the property must be opened at all times
-If washer & dryer are used during your stay. Please treat the machines with care. Do not overload the washer machine. Dryer lint trap must be emptied with every use
-Do not move or remove furniture.
-Make sure that all your personal items are removed from rooms and laundry before check out.
-Wash all dishes, pots and pans, place last load of dishes in the dishwasher and get it started prior to check out
.-Place all used towels in laundry basket in the laundry room and leave used bedding on beds.
-Dispose of all trash in garbage bin and recycle in the recycle can
-Do not tamper with the outdoor surveillance camera or internet box
-House is on septic. For the toilet use toilet paper only
- Repairs/Service Calls-Please report any problems, needed repairs/services, or inoperative equipment to host/owners Joseph & Maria at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) We will make every effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. Refunds or rate adjustments cannot be made for any needed repairs.
-At check out please turn off all heaters and lock all exterior doors and windows. Dehumidifier must not be tampered with and needs to be set at 70%
-Garbage and recycle cans must be placed by the curbside in front of the property on Monday night (if staying Monday night)
- Please do not use the fireplace
- Host/Owner is NOT responsible for Guest’s personal belongings that are lost, stolen or left behind. If requested by guest and if found, any left-behind items can be returned at Guest’s expense.
•Utilities: No compensation will be given for temporary outages of electricity, gas, water, cable, or internet. Utility service outages should be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible.
-Guest agrees to notify the Property Manager of any damages or accidents that occur during your stay. Guest will be notified of any damages or missing items found that are not noted by guest. If the cost of those items is not paid for by guest within 7 days of the end of guests stay, those costs will be submitted to Airbnb as a claim against the guest.
-Any damage to the property or evidence of breach of the rules will result in a fee being charged to the guest
-Law enforcement will be contacted, and guests will be evicted if exhibiting undesirable or illegal behavior, neighbors or other guests on the property complain, unauthorized guests or overstay/late check out and all monies received from guest will be forfeited.
